All Dressed Up

On Friday I'm going to my aunt's wedding.  I've been looking forward to it for ages because I knew my mum would buy me a new dress!  In fact she bought me two, one in blue and one in black.  I also got a really nice pair of sandals. Here are some photos.

I really like the colour blue because it matches my eyes.
I'm looking forward to getting some accessories, and am thinking about how to fix my hair. What do you think?

How I do a Messy Bun

Hello, I was just playing with my hair when I thought I should share how I do a messy bun.
First of all make sure your hair is not just washed as it will be too soft to keep up and your bun will fall out.

Step 1.
Brush your hair out as straight as possible.

Step 2.
Backcomb your hair and tease it out with a brush until it is bushy.

Step 3.
Put your hair up in a ponytail then catch your hair into the bobble in the opposite direction.
The bushiness of your backcombed hair should help it to stay in place.

Step 4.
Tease your hair out from each side of the bun shape.

Step 5. 
Use clips and hairspray if needed.

Hello World!!

This is my first post on my new blog.  I take a lot of photos of different looks I try, and my mum suggested that I could post photos on here instead of on Facebook.  I enjoy trying different hairstyles and make up.  I enjoy watching You Tube to learn beauty secrets, but I also enjoy teaching myself. Sometimes it takes me ages to learn to do something new but I always get there in the end.

My mum isn't very good at doing make up so I like my face to be better made up than hers (then I show her how to do it)! LOL
